The Small Business Multi-Cloud Coalition Launches to Help Shape a More Inclusive Government IT Landscape

Founding members of the Coalition include: Aretec, ATX Defense, Daston, and Westwind Computer Products  

WASHINGTON, DC – JANUARY 31, 2024 – The Small Business Multi-Cloud Coalition (SBMCC) today launched as a collective advocacy group dedicated to innovation within government IT operations. The coalition formed with a three-pronged mission: battling vendor lock, incentivizing multi-cloud, and FedRAMP modernization. 

Anthony Rivera, founding member of SBMCC and CEO of Aretec released the following statement:  

“As a founding member of SBMCC and an industry veteran, I have seen firsthand how a multi-cloud strategy is the catalyst for efficiency and innovation. A mono-cloud solution limits the ability to imagine those bold and innovative approaches that result in the most ambitious results. To address this, we strive to maximize the utilization of multi-cloud strategies and approaches, ensuring efficient resource allocation, workload optimization, and agility across cloud platforms.
